Renaissance Advisory Services (Private) Limited ("RAS") is a financial advisory services company formed in November 1999 and is a subsidiary of Renaissance Financial Services Holdings (Private) Limited ("RFSH").

The promoters of RAS identified a gap in the financial services industry in Zimbabwe and in the Southern Africa region outside South Africa.  The gap resulted from the skills drain the Zimbabwe and other countries in the region have been suffering.  RFSH intends to evolve into a major sub-Saharan Africa financial services group.  The promoters have the relevant skills base to achieve this objective.  Although the country has a number of financial services companies it appears that most of them are not focusing on any specific area and have tended to address traditional banking products.
